How to become an ESC Volunteer

The European Solidarity Corps brings together young people (18 to 30 years old) to build a more inclusive society, supporting vulnerable people and responding to societal and humanitarian challenges. It offers an inspiring and empowering experience for young people who want to help, learn and develop and provide a single entry point for such solidarity activities throughout the Union and beyond. “I ended up at Ananda Kaliyani because I wanted to leave the city, live in nature and I already knew the community and some people here because we follow the same spiritual tradition. The experience itself was good. Got to spend a lot of time woriking with things I enjoy doing but didn’t have the chance to do in Lisbon, such as driving (Logistics), building and repairing things (Maintenance). Worked with very knowledgeable people from who I learnt and in general felt that I have a lot of space to experiment and grow freely without anybody restricting my work.
